Monty Python’s Dead Parrot Really Existed

16 05 2008

Research: Dr. Waterhouse (source)

Publication: Journal of Paleontology

A really nice story is p5 of The Times today, saying indicating that The Python’s ‘Norwegian blue’ parrot may have lived after all. It may be PR for the university, or even to shift Monty Python DVD’s but I get the sense the story just stems from a researcher witha  bit of a sense of humour.  “Dr David Waterhouse has nicknamed it the Danish Blue after the iconic Monty Python comedy sketch featuring a dead Norwegian parrot,” Press Association tells us.
